I’ve added both of Laura’s SMALLVILLE episodes to the gallery. They’re both very small appearances but she looks stunning none the less.
I wanted to issue a personal thank you to Laura Mennell for embracing this site. It is truly a pleasure to have put this together to honour her in this way. I hope to get up more of Laura’s work as time goes on, particularly her work as Nina on ALPHAS. Please keep checking back for updates to both the site and to Laura’s growing career. Thank you so much Laura.
I new interview with Laura regarding the ALPHAS finale and the hope for season three.
Laura Mennell has high hopes for an ‘Alphas’ Season 3
The Mission, BC native plays a lead role on the Space/SyFy action packed thriller ’Alphas’ – residing in Toronto while filming.
In the series, five ordinary people are brought together to form one extraordinary team of Alphas — people with the unique power to stretch the capabilities of the human mind giving them superhuman physical and mental abilities.
The ensemble cast also stars Malik Yoba (New York Undercover, Why Did I Get Married?), Warren Christie (October Road), Ryan Cartwright (Mad Men, Bones) and Azita Ghanizada (Castle) and Academy Award nominee David Strathairn (Temple Grandin, Good Night, and Good Luck).
Season 2 sees Nina using her super human abilities in interesting ways showing a different side of her not seen yet. When asked to comment on the finale, Laura says the last few moments are surprising and she was blown away. Season finale is October 22.
I’ve added Laura’s two episodes of SUPERNATURAL to the gallery. Laura played the part of Brigitta and the Djinn who is menacing to Dean (Jensen Ackles) and attacks Sam (Jared Padalecki) but who gets terrorized by Crowley (Mark A. Shepard) and eventually killed, albeit off camera, but Castiel (Misha Collins).
